I was trying to handle this, but I’ve been trying for almost 24 hours and no movement.

I have a 3 yo Buff Orp who seems to be egg bound. She doesn’t have the penguin stance, and her tail is sometimes down and sometimes up. I noticed her pale and kind of floppy comb, tail down, not eating yesterday around 5pm. We feed Nature’s Best organic layer and all flock mixed. Free choice oyster shell, no scratch grains, fruits and veggie scraps, free range when they want to.

She’s currently inside in a dog crate and I’ve soaked her three times in Epsom salts and tried to get her to eat/drink. Nibbles, at most. She is pooping some(more than last night) and it’s liquid plus some more solids). I have syringed some calcium citrate powder and tried Tums, but she’s being very difficult. I can feel an egg(feels fully formed, not soft) just to the left and down from her vent(if facing her back end). I have tried verrrrryyyy gently manipulating it up and close to the vent, but she isn’t trying to push it out. She’s on a heating pad right now. What am I missing?
