I have saved a couple hens who were egg bound in the past by soaking them in a warm, not too hot bath for about 20 minutes. You have to stay with them, maybe even have to hold them there the entire time. I've had ones relax so much they would have drowned if I wasn't holding on to them. Doing this may help them pass the egg after a bit. Try gently pressing around her lower abdomen and see if that causes discomfort, that might give you an idea if she is egg bound. Have you lifted her tail to check her vent? Sometimes soft eggs can be stuck in their vent.
While she could be egg-bound, from your pictures of her rear end, from what I can tell (pics are very 'dark')...it almost looks like it could be either vent gleet or fly strike. Can you take better photos of her rear end in brighter light?
were you able to help your chicken? mine has been egg bound for days now and I am faced with breaking the egg and would like advice on the best way to do this
Best way to help your hen is to take her in to a vet!, she looks like she is suffering soo much! She could be eggbound but she could also have yolk stroke or peritonitis infection and that's not something you can help her with at home , please donl let her suffer if you aren't able to take her to a vet ,humanley put her down , good luck
