eggcited kids!

We gave our kids thier main easter treats on good friday due to my mom working and all the treats were stored at her house, we never have gifts on normal days that would be too boring Anyways, today I had a easter egg hunt with tiny plastic eggs, real large eggs and our bantem eggs. The kids and the nieghbourhood kids were thrilled with the little eggs, I do wish I had more then 2 dozen but they have just started to lay and I only have 3 hens. I got alot of " can we eat them?" my yard is now full of egg shells but atleast it's not foil from chocolate eggs!

My kids and the neighborhood kids were still looking for three eggs when I left. My DH was laughing because they were all looking and he knew the eggs weren't were they were looking.
