Hi everyone!
My name is Mikki, and I am from the Sacramento area. I am the new mom of 1 Roo, "Slash" and 6 young chickens... hopefully a couple of them are hens, but I am still waiting to find out for certain.
I am a country girl born into a big city, and have wanted to keep chickens and other livestock all my life. I am finally liberated and able to make choices for myself and have chosen to have chickens!
I am learning as I go, and so far my only "larnin" is from the internet. I love this site, and have read a lot of the posts. I look forward to reading more, and talking to folks!
