Well tom the BIG day---I get to pick-up my new babies. (My husband tells everyone I am acting like a new expectant mother). I posted before I started with wanting only 4--then state min of 6 then 8--well found out today the store where we are picking up are getting in two other breeds tom-so I am getting 2 more for myself and 2 more for a friend and then she is trading 2 of her pullets for the two I pick up for her. So instead of coming home with 8 I will come home with 12!!! Chicken husband will have a fit....LOL.. I am SO EGGCITED I CAN"T SLEEP!!! I'll post more tom nite....[IMG]

Congrats! We just got our first chicks today. A neighbor knew I was looking to get into "chickening" and rounded up a few from a farm. I have no idea what they are except they are dark. I can't wait to get home from work and meet them.
