I have a Pekin Bantam Hen who is roughly 29 weeks old!

Should she be laying by now? And if not, when can I expect her to start?

Looks ready to me nice red combs and waddle , she’s on layer feed? Has fresh water? And a nice dark nesting box with fake egg in it ?

As they have been selected for 'pretty' rather than production, Pekin/Cochin bantams are frequently not very prolific layers. They mature more slowly and generally lay a clutch, go broody, repeat --------------
