The chicks would be black with varying amounts of gold leakage or partial gold lacing. They would also carry the mottling (white spot) gene, but not express it. If you breed the cochin/polish offspring together, then a fourth of them will be mottled. If you breed a cochin/polish back to the cochin or to another mottled bird (like the jubilee Orpington) half of their chicks would be mottled.My gold laced polish (?) Is laying eggs and they are probably fertilised (pekin bantam?)
I am so tempted to incubate a clutch. Would this just be a bantam version of a gold laced? So gold laced but smaller?!
