I have 5 fertilized eggs in my incubator. They should hatch today and tomorrow. I can hear chirping and pecking inside the eggs. We give our chickens ouster shells. Since ouster shells strengthen eggs will the chick still be able to get out?

Yes they will be able to hatch as long as you have your humidity is high enough. Incubation all starts with the egg and a good quality strong egg shell is best for eggs that are going to be incubated. The humidity softens the shell enough for the chick to be able to pip and zip through it. I have 65% humidity for the last three days of incubation. If you can hear peeping it shouldn't be long before you have pips in your eggs. Good luck with your hatch :fl
