Hi,
I have been incubating 15 mallard duck eggs, the mom was killed about 2 weeks ago. This is my first time! All embryos are active and moving around. I think they are getting ready to hatch. This morning when I checked one ,it looks as though one is trying to pip through (I think that's what you call it) I have no idea as what to do next. The temp is staying approx. around 99. I spayed them with water to keep the humidity high. What else should I do?
Thanks in advance.

Hello! So sorry to hear about your mallard..... What day is it for the eggs? And what’s your humidity at?

they are outside in the garage and the humidity right now is at 80 percent

I really don't know exactly, the mom was sitting on them for approx. 2 weeks when she was killed. we started to incubate them that same day, which was 5/13/20. I candled them all and according to the pictures I saw it seems to be that they are on approx. 23-25 days?

Your humidity is high if they are NOT in lockdown.... and is a little high for lockdown down, 75% is ideal for lockdown
