Eggs are geting very Hot In Incubator [Help]

stop stressing, what is done is done
the important thing is to learn and correct next time, because lets face it - there is always going to be a next time

I bought this incubator i couldnt get the thermostat to read actual temp. It kept changing up and down on a trusted thermometer when the built in thermometer was reading as constant. 37.5 was closer to 40. But if i turned it down it would go way up and then way down. I ended up building my own incubator. If your eggs feel hot to the touch they are hot. Human Body temp is pretty dang close to what they need. They should feel warm. :) hope that your incubator will smarten up for you.

If this turns out to be the case, chalk it up to experience and do some reading and try another batch.
they are just eggs, after all.
Don't buy expensive eggs to experiment with. any old barnyard cross eggs will do.

in the future take a day or two to stablise your incubator before putting any eggs in it.

x2!

theres no water in it but the top is starting to fog up again

It may do that, just from being so damp. It will clear up, I think.

Have you candled the eggs at all?

i have candeled them a couple of times on one of them it looks like a black thing is in one of them
