Eggs are geting very Hot In Incubator [Help]

I've used this...the directions that come with it might as well be non existent. It doesn't use lightbulb it's fan and element. The temperature is never what it says. I eventually took mine removed top and put inside styrofoam cooler with water bottles to maintain stable even heat and got thermometer/hygrometer...works great like that...no water only a wet sponge and if see humidity fluctuate I either wet sponge more or squeeze out depending on which direction I need to go. It does do well at maintaining heat by kicking on and off it's just not the temp it says you need a separate thermometer. Works great as my thermostat and heat for homemade incubator from styro cooler. I added holes for air exchange and temp/humidity control. Notice my temp on that same incubator you have is set to 40 C that's what it took to get temp to 99.5 F to 100 F on thermometer. I had opposite problem as you did mine was cooler than should've been.

Don't Beat yourself up about it, those incubators are horrible. It's probably a multitude of things that went wrong -did you turn them, what was the temperature, were they really pointy end up? There are many things that can go wrong in a hatch and some of it can be just the parent poultry's diet.

Take the information you have been given and ask more questions and we will help you with your next set even if you do wait. Before you set next time come back on this thread there are many experience hatchers on here!

Note: please excuse any typos I'm using voice to text

It is easy to make mistakes, I have been getting progressively better at hatching my quail eggs over time. I went from having like... 4 out of 14 hatching to now having 7 and 6 out of 14, which is a big jump up from what I used to get.

I use basically a clone of a ReaseJoy 48 Clear Egg Incubator with slightly different button and screen placement, though I cannot find it now. But the ReaseJoy which around £53 on Amazon is available. And even though it is fairly cheap, it still gets the job done with the turning and keeping track of the temp and humidity and so far it hasn't broke in the 7 months I have been using it.

The reviews are mixed though, but on my 7 month old incubator I brought, someone said theirs broke within a month.

sad there dead but do you think it was the incubator fault or mine i think its mine
It is hard to say what cause of them dying, probably a combination of things. I do know that had you done everything right that that incubator is next to impossible to hatch with out of the box using it as is. You're not alone in that experience. Check you tube there are quite a few videos regarding that specific one. Plus, I've personally used it and temp showing isn't accurate and it gets way to humid. Don't beat yourself up. I know it's very sad. I had lost a couple that were 10 to 15 days in with little babies formed inside. But, there's nothing like it when you finally have success. I have experienced this too. Don't give up on the journey of hatching your own.

temp at 37.6 seems fair , can go up to 38 ... think i read somewhere ... 39.4 is where they start being roasted ,,,, i wouldn't worry about the eggs though ... i messed up a batch of 66 last week and got another 66 hatching in a days time ... hope they ok ... also got a new bator and trying not to fry the little ones. (my old bator was set to 38 degrees c ... did many hatching in that till i bought a seperate thermo and found that it was actually 38.9 degress ... what can i say ..it worked at the time!!!)

its appintly at 37.6 right now but it will go up to 37.7 but i been told not to trust it
