It is a little hard to see well with the turners in the way.
Cloverleaf: You know you have to post a pic of the chick. You can't tell us all about it & not post a pic... it's like illegal or something. LOL
Tattoo: The ducks are due on the 18th. They are so big... I bet they'll hatch early. Which is saying they'll hatch on time, since my eggs seem to be a day late this time.
MagsC: Any more progress? The plain "average" tan eggs are most likely barred rocks. I am jealous of your pip. I want a pip, too.

LOL! Actually, I need to go take care of the animals and make dinner for the kids. I'm going to bed early tonight. Got to be up EARLY for work tomorrow. Today was so busy, I didn't even get started... and it was time to go home.
Maybe my eggs are waiting until I'm off work tomorrow to hatch. I should have put them in hatching baskets so I'd know which group hatched from which eggs. Oh well, hindsight is 20/20.

Yes, there are the tan eggs and the eggs that are more brown? Nobody is out yet but there is a chorus of peeps.

You watch, you will get your pips too and have beautiful chickies!!!

Tattoo, of the duck eggs, I still have two left that are doing well, one not sure, and two quitters. Sigh. It happens.

But I agree with Paganbird that these have to be some pretty healthy ducklings as big as mine are already when I have candled!!

Tattoo, I would be glad to try again with duck eggs after I get some of the current hatches done.

I never like to pass up the opportunity to incubate eggs. Ooo. I wonder what they says about my psych???

Actually, there might be three going to hatch, we will just have to see. They are in with my crested indian runner eggs so will have a good mix!!
