Hey y'all so excited got my first two eggs this morning. eggs are a bit tiny. started giving them layer feed. will the eggs get any bigger or will they stay small? my girls are isa browns by the way.

I have 15 month old Golden Comets and their first eggs were small 42/43 grams 1.5 oz. They quickly go to a medium 50 g 1.75 oz. A large in a couple of months and an occasional double yoke at any time. My girls now put out extra large 64 grams 2.25 oz up to jumbo 77 grams 2.75 oz regularly and bigger, up to 95 grams 3.35 oz. occasionally. 20160906_102937.jpg GC

Congratulations! This is often a surprise to new chicken keepers when those long awaited eggs finally come. Yes, they will increase in size in the coming weeks.....and you'll find yourself kind of missing those adorable little eggs
