I just saw a lady with an egg bound hen on Facebook that successfully helped pass the egg by soaking the hen's bottom in water, dawn soap, and baking soda. I have also heard people had success soaking in water and Epsom salt.

My hen seems to be egg-bound cannot feel one inside her but on the outside. It's been days may suggestions

How is she acting?
Is she pooping?

I would continue with the calcium and work on hydration.

You mention you feel an egg on the outside, but not inside. So are you feeling a lump or mass in the abdomen below the vent between her legs? If so, they you may be feeling an internally laid egg, lash material, tumor, etc. It would be hard to know unless you lose her and the mass is explored further.

Sometimes when hens have reproductive problems all we can do is offer a measure of comfort and supportive care. Keep them drinking/eating, check for lice/mites and treat other minor symptoms like crop problems as they arise.

Epsom salt will be more effective, dawn soap and baking soda might have a laxative effect but it most certainly should not be used except if it's the only thing you have.

All you need is the warm water when soaking an eggbound hen, none of that other stuff is needed.
The warm water expands the innards. Placing your hand in the water and gently massaging the underside of the hen front to rear encourages the hen to move the egg along. Do this for about 20-30 minutes.
Then wear a disposable glove and apply olive oil or vegetable oil on the glove and lube just inside the vent. It will make it easier for the hen to lay the egg.
Sometimes they lay the egg in the water.
