eggs chirping, no pipping

Today is day 20 - the hatcher has been chirping for 24 hours (that I've heard anyway) but not a single egg is pipped. My question is, how long have you had eggs chirp for before they actually started hatching??

Mine started chirping about 8 pm day 20 and I had one hatched before 6am on day 21.

I have never timed it. They know when they are ready to hatch, leave them alone.

Thanks - the chick that was chirping for so long hatched all on her own last night!! Which was actually a day early. She's doing great, and now another egg is chirping! Yay! It's my first hatch!
