Eggs Chirping too Early

Any chance your chickens added a fertile egg?
I actually did have 2 chicks hatch from eggs that were sold to me as duck eggs.
We picked the eggs up in person, and on the way home I noticed that two eggs didn't seem like they had the normal smooth outside as duck eggs, but they were white and as large as the other eggs. When we got home I placed them in the incubator and didn't think to much about it until there was cheeping just shy of three weeks . Those two eggs were the only 2 to hatch. They looked like white leghorn crosses. One of those chickens was broodier than my Silkies.

Good thought, but pretty much impossible. The broodies are indoors and the only white egg layers I have are the silkies who are in coop run by themselves, all girls and their egg size remarkably smaller.

Maybe the eggs' incubation period had already started prior to shipment. Did you candle before putting them under the hens?
Looking forward to seeing what hatches.
