My first box of chicken eggs i ever got was labeled "Live Embryos do not x ray" . I hope your eggs come today.

they found out they were eggs cause they looked in it,, and they do have the right to. why on earth they would call it hazmat is jus stupid. maybe 1 broke and was smellin

Note that if it leaks and can damage persons, equipment or other mail it is considered harmful matter.

If it emits an obnoxious odor it can be considered haz-mat.

i guess they could see egs as perishable matter food.
BTW interesting tidbit EBAY germany does not allow thesale of hatching eggs only for egs sold as food. Now sellers ad the disclaimer "not for hatching"
