eggs coming in the mail

Post office can't follow freakin directions. I called and left a message last Friday that I should have a box marked fragile/hatching eggs/fertilized embyros coming in the mail monday. I requested that they hold the box at the post office and call me to pick it up. I gave them my number, address, and the mailed from address. My phone number was also on the box. Lucky, my husband has no faith in customer service and checked the mailbox just incase. And there they were. I must say the 8 silkie eggs (4 buff and 4 partridge) are in great exterior condition.

Question: Since they were shipped with their pointy end down, how long do I still need to wait before I set them in the bator?

From the time they arrived in my mail box, or from the time I took them out of the box? They arrived in my mailbox about 1:00 pm, were found in the mailbox about 5:00pm, and where taken out of the box about 9:00 pm.
