Eggs didn't hatch, after 26 days I broke some open and one had a chick almost fully developed and one no where near deveoped. What could have happened? Will the others still have a chance to hatch?

chicken eggs take 21 days to hatch on average, at day 26 they are pretty much guaranteed to be dead.

it is difficult to speculate on what happened without any information on your incubation process.

I removed the eggs from the nest after 28 days, the chicken want to be in the nest.
What I should do? Do the chicken would set for another 21 days?
I feel sorry for this chicken!

I had the same issue.. I candled the eggs and 3 looked dark, so broke the 6 eggs. 3 were bad but 3 had fully developed chickens that appeared to be dead, no movement and the embryo sack never broke.

I followed all the process in the incubator, checked the temprature and moisture regularily and did not open the incubator for the 26 days.
