so a couple of weeks ago one of my hens finally started laying an brown egg every other day or so. 4/5 a week.
today i get home from work to see if she has layed today and she had...along with a green one next to the brown...

so i started to giggle...
then i happened to catch a flash of white in another laying box..another egg...

another flash in another box...EGG...

i look more...in yet another box TWO MORE!!!

6 eggs total today...made all the waiting worth every second of every day

Congratulations! I love getting prezzies from my girls. Today I got a whopping 9 eggs! Up until this point I had only been getting 3 or 4 tops. I think our chickens think that spring is in the air!
