Cripes, so I've been coming up with a million ways to use up my leftover eggs...
Food, Hatching Eggs... but those only go so far that I have leftovers... PLUS feathers.

I've been turning feathers into earrings, which let me tell you are the new "in" thing and sell rather well depending on your area, etc. etc.
On the other hand, I've hollowed out eggs for candles... and just as normal decor (they look beautiful in a basket).

I am not crafty enough to make those neat carved or painted eggs, but something simple would be great.
More often then not, they get oven baked, crushed & refed to the birds for extra protein <3

Anyone got any ideas they'd like to share with what to do with eggs and feathers?
I'm not the craftiest person, but figured it'd be nice to try something new & maybe even marketable

Share the wealth (of knowledge)!

I have been searching your posts to find more pics of your birds (interested in your eggs for sale) and came across this post. Have you thought about cleaning out an egg then covering it with the smaller feathers to make a feathered egg. You could make the eggs look like the chickens they came from.

just an idea. I have yet to do much creating with eggs so I am not yet full of ideas, but they will begin to come once I quit worrying about hatching eggs

I have some turkey eggs that I am trying to think of ideas for. I never knew turkey eggs were so pretty, so want to make something with them. Christmas ornaments comes to mind, but I am not sure yet. You could start making Christmas decor with yours and stock up for a "Christmas in November" or what ever you guys may have in your area, get a booth with a friend and sell stuff! I've done that before.

I don't know what kind of birds you are raising but I sell my feathers to fly fishermen for tying flies. I also sell the tail feathers of my male pheasants to a local hair dresser for feather hair extensions. I raise 5 different pheasants that have tails long enough for the hair dresser, the impeyan pheasants have short tails and the Lady Amhurst are not old enough for the feathers to be sold yet, but all of the feathers that I collect are great for fly fishermen. The grey jungle fowl cape feathers are the most popular but they take just about any feathers I have including my guinea feathers.
