Hey, don't feel bad about the Genesis. It's what I started with many years ago. All I had was ducks at the time and something kept eating the eggs when they would try and sit them so I bought it to try and incubate some. Bought a second one before I graduated to a cabinet. Now, many years and lots more birds later, I have three Sportsman incubators and a hatcher (yes it is addictive!). I still have one of the Genesis and occasionally use it if I only have a handful of eggs I'm wanting to incubate.
