Eggs exploding

My duckies are sitting on eggs. Everyday an egg seems to explode and be cast aside by them.

Do you think I should candle them all and remove the ones that seem infertile or leave them to handle it on their own?

If they are doing a good job getting rid of the nasty ones, I would let them continue on. I had broody hen once that just sat on the nasty mess so we had to intervene.

If you do decide to candle, be super careful. If they are exploding, it wont take much movement or pressure to make them bust in your hand....*ewww*

Is this their first time setting?
