Eggs- Fertile or not fertile?

I have Easter Eggers and Americanas, and they lay multicolored eggs. How do I know if the eggs are fertilized or not? I need advice.

When you crack the eggs, look for a small white spot (bullseye) on the yolk.

I have an Americana rooster. If I do crack the eggs won't that kill the chick inside?

But we don't know if the eggs are fertile or not. If we do have fertile eggs, then we would broody.
