Eggs floating in the pool? What to do?

I have 6 mallards that I got this April (4 hens and 2 drakes) and I was cleaning out the pool this morning and I found 2 eggs floating towards the bottom.

So since this is my first time raising ducks I have no idea what to do with these eggs!
Last night it got really cold and I cant think they are good anymore, and she hasnt been sitting on them at all either?
Why would she lay them in the pool and would incubating them even be a good idea since its so late in the season?

This is common for many beginning layers. I would separate her from the pool in the morning so she will not lay them in the water. Seeing as you are in Minnesota I would not advise trying to hatch out eggs this late in the year.
