SC is Single Comb and RC is Rose Comb. There are several varieties/colors of Leghorns. They all lay white eggs.Ok...newbie here...what is an SC Leghorn as opposed to just a leghorn?

I realize this thread has gotten off track from the OP's original post.
This is my male Leghorn. He was reserve champion at a show. Not the best picture.

Would you believe that until a couple weeks ago he was beautiful pure white? Now gold/fawn keeps overtaking. There are red feathers, black feathers and barred feathers. Literally 4 or 5 markings of each lol. One on the inside of a tail feather is black.
