Yesterday I came home from work and found 7 eggs in my roll out nest.
I found two more small light brown eggs on the floor of the coop
A total of NINE eggs from my 21 week old pullets
My two leghorns have been laying almost a month. Six eggs in one day was the most in one day up to now. Not sure which brown eggs belong to what pullets?? I have a list of my breeds at the bottom signature. I suspect my Black Australorp and my Rhode Island Reds. The two eggs are pretty deep brown with a few specks(photo not great quality). Could my Cuckoo Marans or Welsummers be laying already??
I am thrilled that most of chickies like their roll out nests. I think the two eggs on the coop floor were first time layers (they were especially small).
