When we came to the U.S. 11 years ago, one of the reasons to go to Houston were the natural disasters: You just have to deal with tropical cyclones there. No earthquacks, no mudslides, wildfires or tsunamis. Tornados in H-town are rare and weak and there are no Blizzards or Ice-storms. And Hurricanes i can deal with, you know days before that it is coming and you can get away.Oh yeah they definitely get some twisters up there. I was born and raised in Texas so we saw tornadoes all the time. I thought I was leaving those behind when I moved to the mountains in Maryland. NOPE they are here too!
So Chile will not only have earthquakes but also earthquacks!those pictures of the Mobil poultry houses are examples of what we WILL do next year-

well- we WILL sell eggs soon- We have already taken orders and we have clients waiting.
We have given our 4 egg sample paks to our buyers and they are saying they are ready to buy in any amount. Woo Hoo! We need more ducks! This summer is the first I've had more eggs than I can handle. People who have never eaten a duck egg are learning that they LOVE duck eggs. I am selling the occasional dozen here and there and everyone wants another dozen the next week. Once your customers try your eggs I'm sure they will be hooked!
From all natural disasters that plague this country, i prefer hurricanes. Bought our house in Houston in August 2008 and had Ike in September, we got out of town a day before it arrived (went to the north, College Station) and came back when it was all over - insurance paid all damages.Nope do not want to be in an earth quake or a tornado. lived in Florida so know about Hurricanes.
