Eggs getting very light in color

Our 6 month old sexlinks have been laying eggs for 2 months now. One of the eggs has always been a lighter color than the other 3. The past 2 days, the eggs have been even paler than they have been. Today's egg was barely brown with dark brown specks.
Is this normal?

Wow! Yet another thing I noticed today myself. All the eggs my brahmas layed today were a pale shade of pink. I'd read somewhere that brahmas could lay pink eggs, but I thought it would be their very first eggs. I'm thinking it may have something to do with the days getting shorter, but I could be completely wrong.
