Eggs gone missing

Hi, i started letting my goose take care of some duck eggs because she went broody about a month ago and i had 3 duck eggs under her. Today i went into the shed and one was completely gone with no evidence of anything and one was cracked like crazy. I left the cracked one because i thought it might still have a chance because the membrane didnt break and when i came back about an hour later it was out of the nest covered with blood and the duckling was out of the egg. I just want to know how on earth the egg disappeared and what happened to the cracked egg and how i can save the last egg.

I am no expert but a predator might have stolen the egg or something. But what I do know is that u can help the egg by getting an incubator or make a brooding pen just for momma and egg..

I cant get an incubator because I don't have a job.

And np i found out the egg died the other day i opened it up to see what was wrong with it and it looked like it had an infection or something. Im going to try again with more eggs so a better chance of hatching.
