Did you wash it? My barred rocks lay "pinkish eggs" once washed and the bloom removed they are nice brown eggs.

Yes, I think so! I finally broke down and bought a dozen pasture-raised eggs from the store a couple weeks ago. Within a few days, I had an egg from my flock! (Also, not so coincidentally, the days are noticeably lengthening here. Maybe SD will catch up very soon!)

No I haven't. We got our schedule together the other day so now I have to do some planning with that in mind.
