We are new to raising chickens. What is your opinion on eggs being edible if they are left in the coop over a weekend. I do sell the eggs to coworkers and family members.

I want to be comfortable knowing if eggs are edible after being in 80, 90 degree weather. How accurate is the egg float test?

we have left our eggs in the coop for a couple days and the float test when we did grab them and wash them was very accurate. I asked a friend of mine who has had chickens for MANY years and she said they were fine. We ate all of ours and all is well. Hope this helps

They will still be 100 percent edible after the weekend!!!!!!!!!!! Don't worry.

Eggs will stay edible and delicious for many days in the coop / nest box. Easily over a week, even in warm weather, so long as they are out of direct sunlight and damp.
