I can’t gather eggs until after work in the evenings. Temps are well below freezing here. Eggs still ok to gather and use later for cooking?

Safe, but do they work like eggs, or do they change their consistency, texture, etc.?If the eggs have frozen and cracked, no. Boil them up and feed them back to the chickens.
Even if the eggs are frozen but they are not cracked they are safe to use.
Will consistency or texture change? Probably. In some cases the yolk might break. How noticeable will it be? That some depends on the person. Some of us have more delicate tastes and senses than others. Some individual cells might rupture when they freeze and swell, depending some on how solid they froze. That's why some yolks might break.Safe, but do they work like eggs, or do they change their consistency, texture, etc.?
Good to know! As long as they will serve their role in baking, I don't mind scrambled as an occasional alternative to fried eggs for breakfast! Will consistency or texture change? Probably. If you are one of those people that demands perfection in everything, any minor flaw can make for a horrible experience, feed them back to the flock. If you are making something where you separate the yolks from the whites you could run into problems. If you are making scrambled eggs, enjoy them.
If theyre frozen solid but not cracked like she said, id stick with using them for scrambled cause the texture will be weird for an over easy but if theyre just a little icy sloshy and you want over easy then just start them in a cooler pan and let them cook a little slower so they melt back into eggs before they actually fry and you probably wont tell the difference!Safe, but do they work like eggs, or do they change their consistency, texture, etc.?
