Eggs in incubator day 19

Well a very pretty sunrise here.... 🐣🌼 my first little pipper is out! And letting all the rest know she is the first very loudly! 😄 she also extremely active and has given all the other eggs and knock and peck in only about 10mins that I've been watching!
Of the other two that pipped yesterday, one is no change, still just a very smal hole and the other has made its hole bigger but it's large and round, not zipping it... I'm also a bit worried I can't see a beak on that one, looks dark feathers maybe. I'll keep watching it.
And one more new pip in the night too...

Update, the one with the large hole literally exploded out! 😅.... just popped the whole top off in one wriggle! My over zealous first chick is rather pleased too see it.
Question: can chick 1 injured chick 2? Looks like she's smothering it sometimes😬

Generally chicks don't injure the others even though sometimes it seems that way. I've by no means been the one with the most chicks in an incubator but I recently had 30-some with a couple helping the others hatch by pecking their pip holes even. I just leave them alone and when the time comes to remove them, everyone's fine.

Thank you... my little dark one is so exhausted from its hatch and the yellow one is rather excited to have a companion! It follows it around and keeps waking it up 😄 aw fun day ahead. My children aren't well and it's half term... I know what we're doing today 👀🐣😅

I'm a little unprepared though. It's only day 19 and I was expecting tonswt my broader box up end of this week thinning they'd start appearing day 21 and come after thar. My fault, I had read bantams can arrive earlier just didn't think that would be my luck 🙃 ⏱️

Oh my goodness how cute is that?? Mine won't start to pip until tomorrow the earliest. We are just starting day 19 here but with regular size eggs not bantams. I will need to be patient a bit longer.

Aww sorry to hear about your kids. My entire family is sick right now too. My fever broke yesterday and now I have terrible ear pain. Lucky my sore throat is going down.

I came home from work early and I have a first pip on day 19!!! This is the smallest of the eggs I have in here but not bantam. It will probably be lonely waiting for the other bigger eggs.
