For the last 5 days I noticed no eggs inside the coop. I was getting 1 or 2 eggs a day from my 3 pullets. I then found the place that they decided to lay their eggs while they free ranged during the day. Are these eggs ok to eat? I'm a newbie here and think they're fine, but just thought I'd ask. I usually collect the eggs daily. These eggs have been outside in the yard for up to 5 days. I have 3 pullets and 3 cockerals.

I've had similiar experiences with egg finding. I've eaten them all. If they smell okay and look okay when you crack 'em open they should be fine. But ++ insert legal disclosure here ++ LOL. I broke them open in a separate dish each time though, just in case. Some people NEVER refrigerate their eggs, just leave them in a basket on the counter, by the way.
