Eggs incubation

Hum I was candling my Quails eggs today it's the 4th day and 6 eggs wasn't fertile , so can I still eat the 6 eggs or they are no good ?
one more thing there was a lot of veins on the eggs and some eggs not so much ? I put them all at the same time same day .
is that means some eggs going to hatch sooner then the others ?

Embryo's mature at different rates, so at day 4, I wouldn't judge any of them yet. I would wait until day 9 or 10 to make any decisions. Just my humble opinion. And will hatch when they are good and ready.

As far as eating them, I personally wouldn't do that either. However folks have eaten far worse things than 4 day old incubator eggs. LOL
