What incubation temps and humidity? For quail ASAP please

Just an update for @Nabiki and @007Sean I went with my gut and I let the incubator do its thing and I trusted what it was telling me, I did 45% humidity and 60%in lock down, out of the 54 eggs 49 hatched 3 were infertile 1 died during hatching and 1 died just before lockdown (want at the right stage) Just thought I’d update you on it, Also I wanted to know what breed of Coturnix quail these are, I’ve not got many of them and I’m not sure what breed they are View attachment 4070725View attachment 4070726
Congratulations on your hatch. They are not called breeds, they are known by species name or their color variations. The species is Coturnix, then there are color variations or color morhs. I'm not familiar with color variations, @Nabiki would be better at determining color than I.
ETA-- may be a Rosetta? I'm not an expert on Coturnix color variations.

Congratulations on an excellent hatch!

Quail don't have breeds like chickens, dogs, or cats, but they do have colour variations. Yours look like some red range, maybe rosetta, maybe amber. You'll have a much better idea in a couple weeks.

1 - could be several types depending on the parents
2 - could be several types depending ont he parents (though I'm leaning toward falb fee or grau fee)
3 - could be several types depending on the parents, some black & white variety
4 - looks like a tibetan tux
5 - white - check the eyes. If the eyes are red, it's an albino. Albinos almost always have health issues, and usually go blind.
6 - looks like a rosetta tux

Hello @Nabiki my quail are now a week old and their heat plate needs raising, however some of the quail are much larger than the others? Why is this, I don’t want to raise the plate to much or the smaller ones won’t get enough heat, and if I lower it the large ones get no heat. Why have they grown like this? Does it indicate the males and females ? Please give me some advice, many thanks- 6-Hens-and-me

Some difference in size is normal. It looks like that little dotted white is a runt, though. That can happen if its egg got cracked, if it's being bullied away from the feed, bad genetics, low appetite, or any number of other factors. Keep an eye on the little one to make sure they're getting enough to eat. If they're being pushed away from the food, a second feeding station might help.

I’ve obviously got a few runts, this photo was taken just before cleaning and I’d started taking out the feeder I do make sure they’ve got two, I’ll guess I will just see how they get on really, make sure she and the other smaller ones don’t get trampled

The heat plate that I have has four legs which can be adjusted independent of each other. When I used it, I made the back two legs shorter than the front two so the birds could decide how close they wanted to be to the heat. The one I have is too big for the brooder setup that I settled on, so I ended up only using it for my first hatch, but it worked well. For subsequent hatches, I used a ceramic reptile heater suspended above one end of the brooder on a tripod so that I could raise it as the need for heat waned.
