Eggs just aren't hatching

My broody is sitting on eggs and has a few days left until I remove the eggs. Do I need to do anything for my broody once I take her nest away? Do I just take the eggs and leave?

I'd just take them, she'll adjust. If you give her more eggs, that is three weeks she will set again and will get too thin. You COULD, let her set on the bad eggs until you find Day Old Babies for her, up to 3 days should bond with her and then you could let her adopt them. At least a couple? I'd give her a dozen if you can locate some. Best of luck. Sorry her eggs didn't make it. Henz

I've had to locate chicks for a hen that just wouldn't get off the nest after her batch of eggs failed. otherwise, I've always had at least 1 hatch out of a brood, which is plenty enough to keep a broody hen happy

I have another broody with 4 chicks so far, expecting more. Maybe I can take her next 2- should I and how? Also, can you put two broody hens together?
