So abi one of my chickens, has "sum" issues... her eggs are thin and i've tried to give her calcium but its not realy helped much

any ideas???

Maybe try giving her some scrambled eggs.. They will usually gobble those up faster than anything. And it could possibly be something other than a calcium issue. Maybe someone mith more knowledge in that area will chime in soon...

When you say you 'gave her calcium', how did you do this? Most add oyster shells to the food, or offer oyster shells free choice.

I had a hen that started to lay soft shell eggs after an injury. I always have oyster shell out and give them layer pellets.. Some one mentioned add apple cider vinegar to their water.. W/ in two days she was laying reg. eggs again.. It might be worth a shot.. Seems the ACV helps them 'use' the calcium better..

I sprinkled a lot on the ground and they would peck at it. But now im giving her scrambled eggs with oyster shell and all other kinds of goodies in it, or re-friedbeans, with the same stuff as the egg, she gobbles that down pretty quickly
