eggs long over due

I have a young hen with first clutch of eggs and has been sitting on eggs over 21 days. 6 chicks hatched but still sitting on 5 eggs. she refuses to get off. how do I know if eggs any good?

Were all eggs put under hen at same time?
How long since chicks hatched?
Are they off the nest and eating?
