Eggs making human sick?

Hi I just picked up some spare chicken supplies from another chicken owner.

After asking some questions about her chickens and why she didn’t need supplies anymore, it turns out her chicken eggs were making her sick…

A few questions…
1) can a sick chicken produce “sick eggs” or is this some other issue?

2) if so, can any illness do this?

3) we picked up some of their food they no longer were using, so I’m skeptical about feeding it to our own chickens due to contamination or possibly food gone bad.

- all flock feed in a bucket
- mealworms packaged in 2020
- garden grains packaged in 2020
(Corn, wheat, milo, red lentils)

Nothing looks moldy, but I’m wondering if being packaged in 2020 would make it expired or stale that could cause the chickens to be sick. Otherwise would potentially just contaminate my hens.

Is this lady allergic to chicken eggs? Or did it come on suddenly? One can become suddenly allergic to chicken eggs even if they've had no issues eating them in the past. She should get tested.
That all being said, I doubt there is anything wrong with the eggs.
The feed stuff should all be tossed as it is far too old to feed.

Wow, I didn’t know sudden allergy was possible! Thanks for letting me know.

Do you happen to know if there’s anything I could repurpose the old feed / extras for? Or best to just toss?
