Dusky bibbed is the color type. Auction is for one dozen fresh eggs plus extras when available. My flock is Holderread's prefered hatch from last year. This very rare breed is quite laid back and have been excellent egg layers. They are good foragers and do very well in bitter cold winters, happy with a low rubber pan of water to bathe in. They are not aggressive with chickens. This breed lays large tinted eggs, blueish to greenish in color.

Looking forward to these guys.

I let a chicken hen sit half the eggs, but I actually had more go full term in my HovaBator with fan.

Maybe because the hen stole a dozen chicken eggs to add to her duck eggs.

Needless to say, I moved the duck eggs to the incubator for hatch.
