I am near Fairbanks AK and I am looking for hatching eggs to start a flock. I want a colorful and fun flock and a good looking egg basket. I am primarily looking for chickens but will also entertain ducks if any one is keeping them in the area. Any help is appreciated.

LOL, 9 million dollars?
Well, I just so happen to live in Fairbanks Alaska :p we have Seremas (low scale, trying to get more), laying breeds, and a Cochin rooster as our main protecter. If we bred them, they'd have good laying genes and feathered legs. We also have an EE who hasn't started laying, but I believe she'll lay green eggs and between our roo and her muff we'd have a feather legged muffed bird with green eggs :3
I can also pair our Serema hen to either rooster or the cochin roo if you'd really like.
If interested PM, I know they're crosses but they'd make some cute babes! Lol.

Little spitzhauben boy/girl,gender is fooling us but I'm thinking boy. If so he'll pass down white egg gene i believe (hatchery quality spitzhauben, so basically spitzhauben x polish)

We have New hampshires, cinnamon queens (the whiter one), solid white hens (no idea on breed, have 2), whatever breed the first one is, have lotta those, lol, and a brahma hen who lays dark eggs. My friend has 2 hens who lay blue eggs, I can get a few of those, she has some black hens, she's out of town though so I can get dozen of eggs from her, she has a lot, Wyandotte Roos, very pretty. Between the 2 of us you can get some good genes :p no white eggs though, and as of right now no green eggs, but brown, dark brown, light brown, blue, she might have white eggs, not sure.
But like I said, PM if interested

egg carton, first one on left is Cochin (have a buff Cochin hen, broody on Serema eggs), Serema egg on right, egg on 2nd row on left, layed by brahma, egg on right on 2nd row is a pullet egg
