Eggs not hatching Green yolks

Ive been using the same bator for years my eggs are clean when put in I don't get why all of a sudden they won't hatch
I am sorry for the bad hatches!

The most likely cause is that the incubator has gone out of calibration.

Banty is correct too--Sanitize everything and look into getting a new incubator.

My Brinsea Octagon 40 is supposed to go back to them every two years to be checked over.

Incubators do not last forever.

It does not sound like a flock problem. If you picked up fertile eggs from another source they would likely die like that too

This is from the hatchability problem analysis for dead after day 18. The green yolk could have happened because they died at day 18 and then decay set in to day 21 or so.

What kind of bator? Styrofoam? It's possible that the bator is harboring bacteria. Killing your adult birds will not solve your bacterial contamination problem.

How have you been sanitizing the bator?
I have two hovabators both washed with soap and vinegar and the same thing happens i have two thermometers in them reading the same

It doesn't matter what your thermometers read if they have not been calibrated. Obviously, the soap and vinegar are not cutting it. How bout using bleach???

Even at that, if you have bacterial contamination, the spaces between the styrofoam beads can harbor bacteria.
Sunlight!

That will kill the buggies. You do not want to do that too much because it will degrade the styrofoam.

Also, you can buy new bottoms and tops for incubators.

The bacteria or fungus is likely in the bottom. This is an example. There are other parts for other incubators at the linked page

its hard to use sunlight when all there is, is snow lol i thought about getting a new bottom but before i do a friends gonna try hatching some

I can't seem to hatch any of my eggs because the yolks are green days before they are due to hatch...what causes that at this point I will be culling my remaining chickens in the spring since I cant even hatch them its not worth feeding them
Don't Cull your Birds..If it was caused by an infection they would not have made it as long as they did..It's temp and humidity issues..
