Eggs on the run

I was a little late getting out to release and feed the runner ducks today. As always, they dashed out of the shelter at top speed, racing toward the large feed dish some 20 feet away. I followed them with feed, and on the way -- without missing a beat -- two of the girls literally dropped eggs on the ground and kept running.

These girls LOVE their breakfast!
