Hello,
We were gifted Japanese quail eggs which are in the incubator as we speak. We have no experience with backyard poultry (thought we were going to start with chickens, but apparently not) and I'm not sure what to expect. Are Japanese quail typically raised for egg laying or meat? I'm crossing my fingers that it's egg laying. If not, they may just end up being spoiled pets.
Thanks!
