Think I have a few eggs in the egg turner upside down. Waiting on good flashlight to candle, then I will get them in correctly at 8th day or so. Do you think theyll hatch?

The eggs should be upside down in the turner. In other words, the larger end should be pointing up and the pointy end should be pointing down.

some looked the same on both ends, so will they hatch if wrong end is down.

If you candle them, look for the air cell. That is the top of the egg. That is the side that should be pointing up. They may or may not hatch, I'm not to sure.

No they won't hatch if the fat end is up. make sure you find the air cell ASAP so you can turn it right side up (if its not too late) i had a couple that looked the same on both sides and by day 7 they were dead because they were upside-down. Hope that helped.
Good luck and post pics when they hatch

Fat end up? Everything ive read says point downwards in egg turner?

Yes, air cell, which is generally on the fat end of the egg should go up in the turner or carton, whatever you are using as a holder, some eggs are hard to see the difference because they are slender on both ends or completely round, these you would need to candle to find the air cell, the air cell is fairly easy to find even with a low quality light most any flashlight should work if you make a cone to concentrate the light into a small spot, I have found I do need a better light to actually see chick development. If they are upside down it won't necessarily kill them, even eggs which are positioned properly sometimes have chicks positioned upside down inside the egg and they will pip at the wrong end, sometimes they hatch sometimes they don't. So it will improve your odds to have the eggs positioned properly but if they aren't it isn't a guaranteed loss.

sorry got a little mixed up and forgot how big a difference i could've made for this person. The pointy end is down and the fat end is up. Pointy end down also increases shelf life for eating eggs

Thanks for the input. Got a great flashlight (Fenix PD35) in the mail yesterday that's 860 lumens , so I will candle them tomorrow and make sure the 4 or 5 are correct direction that were possibly wrong. Appreciatte your help.
