eggs set up before eating

I gave my chickens an antiboitic a month ago and I am now beginning tcollect eggs to keep. I read some where that you need let the eggs set for a few days before eating them, but I forgot about how long....does anyone know the answer to this.

Usually there's a two week egg withdrawel after giving antibiotics, worming, etc.

After that you can eat the eggs right away. I've never heard of letting them set.
