I will jen. I looked at them as well as I could here and all look fine so far. I don't see any wet spots or sticky. That is a good sign. I will set them late tonight before bed. Keep your fingers crossed. I hope you get your tomorrow. I think the PO took the whole week off instead of one day for Columbus day!! Geesh!

Good for you Katy. Let us know how it goes. We will be hatching together!! What are you putting in? I have silkies and a few faverolles from jaynie knight and a few of my faverolles pullet eggs which probably wont hatch, and are a mix. Keep us updated. Hope you get yours tomorrow Jen.

I sometimes wonder why the post office takes so long, my goodness. Congrats and good luck on your hatch.

I did ask the post office about something I was sending out on an Ebay auction I had, they were tickets that needed to get there immediately. The postal workers actually told me delivery confirmation slows things down, I was just stunned at this information.

Why on earth would that be since they wear a scanner on their belts and it takes a split second to scan a barcode? Sounds like an excuse to me. They always have one. Yeah, they charge more money for certain services they dangle like a carrot in front of you, but never intend to really deliver them. They just get more money. No guarantee guarantees. SO why charge more for anything? Oh, better not get started on the P.O., I guess. They have a monopoly and do whatever they feel like and get away with it, like no other business could.

I don't see why it would slow anything down. The delivery confirmation is scanned at each location the package arrives at so you can trace it's steps. If a package stalls for some unknown reason they can find it more quickly. I don't actually work at one of the larger hubs so maybe there is something I don't know about the dc's. I know all carriers are not the same but I try to treat my customers the way I want to be treated in return. And wish all carriers would do so. But I know what ya mean. Sorry though didn't mean to get off topic! When I ordered mine I ordered chicks and were worried to death til I peeked in and they were all ok. I know ordering eggs would be nervewrecking!
