I have a broody hen in one of my nesting boxes, and I built a makeshift pen around it to keep her in and others out. This morning, one of my leghorns had managed to finagle her way in and was sitting on the eggs while Mama hen paced in front of the nesting box EXTREMELY perturbed. I'm not sure how long the leghorn was in there. Will the eggs be okay? It's day 7.

As long as the eggs were kept warm and not damaged they will be fine. They don't care who's butt's on them, as long as it's a warm one
